New Hyundai Fluidic Verna Review

Its' the small details that tell you how serious Hyundai is about  it new Fluidic Verna. Bits like the well finished boot lining, the snug-fitting rubber mat inside the rear center armrest, and the quality textures inside the cabin reveal an almost VW- like attention to detail.  Then look at the number of engines to offer- There are two new diesel and two new petrol motors; the range covers every car from the current ford Fiesta to the Honda city and Vento. And to make sure  nothing is missed out is, the bigger displacement 1.6 petrol and 1.6 diesel are being offered with the option of Automatic. The Top SX versions come with six airbags, disc  all around , key-less entry and go , a reverse camera, electric folding mirrors, blue-tooth connectivity, a cooled glove-box, USB/ipod, climate control and 16-inch alloys. So , on paper, Hyundai has covered a lot of ground.

Pros:
  • Wide Range of Engine
  • Loaded with Features
  • Improved Quality

Cons:
  • Lackluster drive
  • Low rear seat

The New Hyundai Fluidic Verna  doesn't have wooden finish dashboard. The steering is nice to hold, the cubbyholes are big enough. Plenty og leg-room but the rear seats are too low.
The 1.6 litre petrol motor acquits itself well too. It is smooth and quite enough when doodling around the town and you will find no cause for complain.

This new Fluidic Verna is  has a starting price of  Rs.8.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)

    Hyundai Verna Transform Review

The latest Verna is the seventh generation and is built on a completely new platform which took around 5 years and Rs 810 crore to develop. The chassis of new Hyundai Verna transform is much stiffer than before and has been optimized for better crashworthiness to meet the increaingly stringent standard in the europe and US.

The new Hyundai Verna transform looks impressive from any angle and sports Hyundai's new 'Fluidic Sculpture" design which in essence is a mix of sharply sculpted and flowing lines. The hexagonal grille in new Verna is now an obvious Hyundai Signature but its' s L shaped fog-lamps stretching outward in the bumper that is a brilliant design detail.
Few cars look great in side profile but the new Verna is one of them. The heavily creased character line which swoops upwards from the front wheel arch into the rear tail-lights, slicing through the door handles along the way, looks simply brilliant.
The interiors of new Hyundai Verna transform is also good, though the new Verna's interiors don't quite have the solid,built-to-last feel of Vento, they feel much richer and better finished than all its rivals. The interior design isn't as cutting edge as exterior but the dashboard is nicely sculpted with the subtle indent on the top, which looks nice but isn't very useful. In fact , the storage space in the cabin is too generous. The front seats are quite comfy and have ample travel to suit really tall people and there's fantastic legroom in the rear too.

The new Verna has two diesels and two petrol variants, and the good thing is that none of these engines are carried over from the previous Verna.  Instead Hyundai has plonked its latest Gamma petrol and U2 diesel motors under hood. the pair of petrol and diesels both come with 1.4 and 1.6 litre capacities with different power outputs.

With the new Verna , there's no doubt that Hyundai has made a quantum leap forward. The way new Verna blends practically, quality and value in a package that is very upmarket and stylish.
